14th Feb Pulwama Attack Status Video for Whatsapp – On 14th February 2019, India was shocked to its very core as the news of 40 CRPF jawans being martyred in an attack in the Pulwama district of the erstwhile state of Jammu & Kashmir came to light. The nation was shaken. Since 2020, 14th February is observed as Pulwama Shahid Diwas. The attack took place after a convoy of vehicles carrying Indian soldiers was rammed into by a car carrying explosives. The suicide bomber was later identified as Ali Ahmad Dar, a 22-year-old local Kashmiri youth, who was radicalized after being beaten up by the Indian police.

Investigation
An initial investigation was carried out by the National Investigation Agency and J&K police. The initial investigation revealed that the vehicle which was used to carry out the attack was carrying more than 3,000 kg of explosives. The charge sheet named 19 accused, out of which 7 were killed, including the main accused of the attack, while 7 others were arrested.

State funerals were carried out in the respective native places of the CRPF soldiers. While the government of India advised The Financial Action Task Force on Money Laundering (FATF) to blacklist Pakistan, the agency added Pakistan to its grey list. Protests, candle marches, and bandhs were witnessed across India as the nation mourned the death of its 40 brave soldiers. Apart from this, violent protests were also witnessed in Jammu & Kashmir before a curfew was imposed in the valley.
After the attack in 2019, India started observing 14th February as Pulwama Shahid Diwas.
