Raju Srivastava mocks AAP CM face Bhagwant Mann over alcohol

New Delhi: Comedian Raju Srivastava has made a controversial remark against Aam Amadi Party leader Bhagwant Mann in his latest video. Srivastava released the video on Youtube and gave it the title ”Mukhyamantri Tunn Hai”.

Notably, Mann has recently been declared AAP’s Chief Minister face in Punjab. Targeting AAP’s announcement, Srivastava also said that Punjab will get an alcoholic CM.

In the beginning of the video, Raju Srivastav said a bottle of alcohol is more powerful than money. Later in the video, he said Bhagwant Mann is his friend who also used to do comedy. If he becomes CM of Punjab, he will promote alcohol shops by giving licence, said Srivastav in the video.

The video has so far received over 50 thousand views on YouTube. It also received a lot of reactions from netizens.

Who is Bhagwant Mann?


Bhagwant Mann is a former actor and satirist. He was given a ticket in the Punjab Lok Sabha election in 2014 from the Sangrur constituency. He again won the same seat in 2019. He had reportedly announced in 2019 that he has taken a vow in a rally not to consume liquor again. In the forthcoming Punjab assembly election, AAP has given him a ticket from the Dhuri assembly constituency.

Raju Srivastav, who has been associated with BJP since 2014, said in his video that Mann is a friend as both are comedians. Notably, the duo made their debut in the talent show ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’ in 2005. Srivastav was announced the second runner-up at the show and Mann was placed at the fifth spot.
